02 / RELEASE DESIGN — DRIFT
GIRLS / SHOW ME A LIGHTER

PROJECT NOTES
Client Needs
The release needed a visual identity that felt minimal and distinctive, with enough personality to stand apart from more conventional electronic-music artwork while remaining immediately legible at streaming size.
Creative Process
The composition was built around a faceted line-art portrait, using the angular geometry as the main visual language. A near-monochrome palette and large areas of negative space keep the artwork controlled, while the small DRIFT mark and release title provide a clear hierarchy without competing with the central illustration.
Final Delivery
Final square release artwork prepared for streaming services, digital promotion and social rollout, with the composition designed to retain clarity both full-size and as a small platform thumbnail.
