PROJECT NOTES

Client Needs

UPGRADE needed artwork for the first volume of his archive dubpack that could present the release as a premium, recognisable package while remaining rooted in the dark club-focused visual language associated with his music.

Creative Process

The core 3D elements used in the artwork were created by UPGRADE. The cover was then developed collaboratively with him, combining those supplied 3D assets with composition, typography, colour treatment, lighting, framing and finishing work to build the final release artwork. The intention was to keep his own visual material central while shaping it into a cohesive cover system.

Final Delivery

The final delivery included the square release artwork and an additional presentation version incorporating First Request Records branding. The finished artwork was prepared for digital release, promotional use and social media rollout.
